It has been nine years since the pair of Mickey and Tanu established their bond with the audience for the first time. Yes, when the country’s first web series ‘Permanent Roommates’ was first released on YouTube in 2014, it instantly struck a chord with the youth, especially the couples in love. It has taken many interesting turns since Mickey, a long-distance lover, comes to Mumbai and suddenly reaches Tanu’s house and proposes to marry her. The first season left both of them stuck in search of a house. In the second season the matter reached the point of marriage and now in the third season Tanu wants to go abroad. Why? That’s because Shraddha, who worked with him, has got an opportunity in Germany.

Story of Company Company

By the third season of the web series ‘Permanent Roommates’, the story of TVF, the company producing it, has become something else. But, the good thing is that it has not had much impact on the story of Mickey and Tanu. Except the fact that the standard of living of both has increased. Both have left Mira Road and have come towards Andheri. Their house is nice. Purushottam’s stomach has also come out. Poverty is no longer visible on his face. Prime Video has already given the money this time, so there is no need for the help of brands like Floor Companion or Ola this time.

Vishwapati Sarkar sowed the seeds

While in TVF, Vishwapati Sarkar had created the web series ‘Permanent Roommates’. His case got settled from the first desi series itself. Now that its third season is about to be released, he and his partners have brought ‘Kala Paani’ on Netflix, through their new company Posham Pa Pictures. In the story of Mickey and Tanu, the beginning of the third season comes with a slight halt. This time also the matter starts with role play, but this time the surprise of mom’s entry is good. Vaibhav and Shreya have done a good job in writing the series in this respect. Writing the next season of a hit series is not easy, especially when it comes to showing the evolution of the characters as they age and profession.

Permanent Roommates Season 3

changing stress points with increasing age

Shreyans Pandey has tried to make the third season of the web series ‘Permanent Roommates’ with a slightly ‘rich’ feel. And, due to the long scenes, the situation in front of them seems difficult at times, but this series gets its water from its characters. Sumit Vyas and Nidhi Singh as Mikesh and Tanu are no longer young. It is also told through Purushottam that since then a lot of water has flowed in the Ganga. But, despite the age visible on their faces, Sumit and Nidhi have tried very well to keep the story even. It has become very natural for both of them to fight, quarrel, get angry and then persuade.

Senior artists added color in Permanent Roommates Season 3

The story of Season 3 of the web series ‘Permanent Roommates’ is where the gap between two generations seems to be narrowing. This process of generation alternation has been going on ever since the trend of ‘uncle’ becoming ‘papa’ has been going on. But now father also has no time for his daughter and he is getting irritated because even at the age of 60, he wants a little privacy. Purushottam is exploring the issue of his ‘masculinity’ in this. The character of Sheeba Chaddha has its own charm. And, the story of Shishir Sharma and Ayesha Raza Mishra has also moved in a new direction. The matter between Mickey and Tanu has also become serious and overall the third season of the series is set according to its mood and its history. There are five episodes, watch them quickly.
