Two people claimed that Michael Jackson sexually abused them when they were children, Billboard reports. A California appeals court ruled on Friday, August 18 that they can proceed with the lawsuit against companies owned by the late singer. The California Court of Appeal revived two lawsuits against the late King of Pop’s production company alleging fraud by two men, James Safechuck and Wade Robson.

Safechuck and Robson had previously sued Michael’s company, MJJ Productions, but their suit was dismissed by a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge. He said that the company is not liable towards both the plaintiffs. However, in the two years since then, the California Court of Appeal for the Second District, a higher court, overturned that decision.
