Everyone has equal rights on education. If a child wants to study, it is the responsibility of the government to provide him a school. The film ‘Guthlee Ladoo’ is a slap on all those claims of development in which it is repeatedly said that everything is fine in the country. If you go 100 km from the capital of any state towards the wilderness or river banks, what you will see is still difficult for many sociologists to understand. Director Ishrat R Khan has teased such a story in the film ‘Guthlee Ladoo’ that it is difficult to look away. This film must be watched by all those academicians, government policy makers and those running NGOs in the name of working for rural children.

The film ‘Guthlee Ladoo’ is the story of a family which people do not even want to have with them. It is a matter of great heart to honor the one who cleans the filth of the society. Generally, such employees and their families are treated like despised people in the society and what happens when a child from such a family dreams of improving his social status by getting education? As simple as the question is, if we sit down to write its answer on paper, then the face of the people who are going to become the third largest economic power in India in the 21st century, will scare us.

The film ‘Guthlee Ladoo’ is the story of a family which people do not even want to have with them.

Guthlee still does not accept defeat. He goes and stands near the school. He is Ekalavya of Kaliyuga. He learns by listening and if given a chance, he has the ability to aim accurately. But there are some obstacles in his sadhana, just like Dronacharya’s dog had created obstacles in Ekalavya’s sadhana. But, before that he makes laddus the object of his spiritual practice. For Guthlee, Ladoo is an imaginary world in which he can draw a blackboard on the wall, repeat the lessons he heard in class, and even practice these learnings with Ladoo. Sadhana is broken. Complaints also reach home but the kernel is adamant on growing. If you have seen ‘I am Kalam’ then you can see its reflection here in Guthlee’s father. Guthlee’s father also wants Guthlee to become a big man after studying.

The principal of Dronacharya School of this story is Harishankar. But, this time he is not with Arjun but with Ekalavya.

Guthlee Ladoo Review
Guthlee Ladoo Review : Sanjay Mishra

The principal of Dronacharya School of this story is Harishankar. But, this time he is not with Arjun but with Ekalavya. If Sanjay Mishra is playing this role, it can be understood that what kind of raw juice his character has got in his acting. Looking at Sanjay Mishra it seems that how much acting juice is still left in him. Only such directors are needed who can make new hives from this juice and if necessary, can also extract completely organic honey from it. Sanjay Mishra’s acting is the life of the film ‘Guthlee Laddu’. This film, which has been honored in more than 50 film festivals, has been seen by people from Ayodhya, Udaipur, Gorakhpur, Kolkata and Jharkhand to London. It has also received a lot of respect in the film festivals of these cities.

Dhananjay Seth, the child who played the character of Guthlee in the film ‘Guthli Ladoo’, has won everyone’s hearts with his acting. There is a dearth of pure child actors in Hindi cinema these days. Directors are also looking for stories and good actors for these stories. Dhananjay’s training has been done well before the start of the film and its effect is also visible on screen. Subrata Dutta as Guthlee’s father Mangroo, Kanchan Pagare as Budhiya, Heet Sharma as Guthlee’s friend Laddu, Kalyani Mulay as Guthlee’s mother and Archana Patel as Laddu’s mother are impressive. .

These were many good things about the film. And, now there are some things which the makers of this film should consider in their next film and if they get the budget, they should also make it better. The dialogues of the script of the film, made with the combined efforts of Ganesh Pandit, Srinivas Abrol and Ishrat, are in Bundeli dialect and have turned out to be very good. But, when the characters are speaking these dialogues on screen, the atmosphere behind them does not appear Bundelkhandi. The viewer’s first interaction with the film breaks here. Production designer Sara Ishrat Khan could not understand the soul of the film ‘Guthlee Ladoo’.

Ghutlee Ladoo Review

Ishrat R Khan has made this film with a lot of heart and it has won the hearts of the people who came to watch the film.

Even technically, the film ‘Guthlee Ladoo’ could have been a better film. Had costume designer Sagar Trilotkar put in as much effort into the cinematography, editing and music of the film, the joy of the film would have been different. Ishrat R Khan has made this film with a lot of heart and it has won the hearts of the people who came to watch the film. The only sad thing about such films is that till now there is no policy in the country to reach the films of independent filmmakers to maximum audience.
